How exactly does Infostash work?
The Infostash has a built-in tiny computer powered by a small battery, which contains all of the content according to the variant you choose (Core, Pro, or Elite). It makes it’s own Wi-Fi network which you can connect to and access the content using another device such as a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Where will the Infostash work?
The Infostash was designed to work just about anywhere. No cell service, wifi, or any other network is necessary for the Infostash to work. Making it perfect for off-grid or grid-down situations.
However, there are a few places it would likely not work:
Underwater (it’s not waterproof, plus you’d likely drown while trying to get your phone to connect to wifi)
In a fire (It’s not fireproof)
In hell (again, not fireproof)
Of course we are joking to make a point: there’s not many places that this device won’t work. Just keep it dry, keep it charged, and it will reliably be ready to go whenever you are.
Does it require a subscription of some sort?
In a grid-down situation, or really any kind of situation, the LAST thing you want to worry about is “did I pay my subscription?”
That’s why Infostash will NEVER require a subscription of ANY kind.
Once you purchase your Infostash, that’s it. No more penny pinching. No “we are going to lock you out of your device if you don’t give us more money”.
We believe that you can own what you pay for. Something that is lost in our society today.
How do I update my Infostash?
While not available just yet, we are releasing an Infostash Update Tool that you can run on your windows computer. It will be able to connect to your Infostash and update the content for you, whenever you would like to.
